We need you be super flexible on adoption day. We train you in every aspect of volunteering, so you can feel comfortable with handling dogs for different rescues during the day and help us manage all the adopter experiences.

General Volunteer, happy to be placed wherever we need you: Dog Handlers, Greeters, Team Clean, Runners, Guard Dogs, Parking, Meet and Greet etc.

Please name any friends/family you would like to be with. Remember one adult required to volunteer with each under 18 volunteer. eg 2 under 18s need 2 adults!

Placement depends on where you are needed on event day. so unless you are an adult/minor pairing we may not be able to place you with friends or family or you may be separated during the day.

If we place you with a rescue which rescue would be your first choice

Remember, on event morning another rescue may need you and you will need to be happy to switch to wherever you're needed

Can you arrive at the event by 8am and stay until 4pm? This is required by all volunteers.

If not, then please apply for another event when you are able to volunteer for a full day. You will be required to return your name badge and sign out at the end of the day. If you need to leave before 4pm you will need prior permission before the event from the volunteer coordinators.

Do you have any mad skills you'd like to share with us?

Not whether you can put your foot behind your neck etc. More skills that will help us...hee hee!
